About our services
Eagan Cat Sitters provides in-home cat sitting services in Eagan, Minnesota and across Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties. Every sitter on our team is pet first aid certified, insured through Pet Sitters Associates, and bonded.
Service area
Our primary service area is Eagan, Minnesota. We also offer Traveling visits for clients in Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties. Service availability is subject to scheduling and distance. Contact us to confirm coverage for your location.
Booking and cancellations
Appointments are booked through our Square scheduling page. All booking requests are reviewed and must be accepted by us before they are confirmed. Submitting a booking request does not guarantee the appointment.
When you book, you'll be asked to save a card on file. No money is charged at booking. For paid visits, we send an itemized invoice through Square after the visit is completed; the invoice charges the card on file four business days after your service date. Free consultations are never charged to the card on file.
To cancel or reschedule, email us at hello@eagancatsitters.com. A $25 cancellation fee applies for cancellations within 24 hours or for visits prevented by circumstances beyond our control. Free consultations are not subject to a cancellation fee. If the fee applies, it's charged to the card you saved at booking.
In-home consultation
We require a free in-home consultation before any paid visit. This allows us to meet your cat, review care instructions, and confirm that our services are a good fit. Consultations carry no cost and no obligation.
Service agreement
Our service agreement captures the care information from your free in-home consultation, authorizes us to seek veterinary care in an emergency up to a limit you set, and binds your acceptance of these terms of service.
Signing once covers future bookings as well, so re-signing is not required for every visit. If something material changes, such as a new cat in the home, a new vet, or a change in authorized access, we will send a fresh agreement to sign.
Households with more than one owner
The Client named on a service agreement may include more than one person, such as spouses or other co-owners of the same cats. Where multiple persons are named, the agreement may be signed by any one of them, and one signature binds the agreement for all persons named as the Client.
The person signing confirms that they are an owner of the cats or are authorized by the owners, and that they have authority to accept the agreement on behalf of all persons named as the Client and all occupants of the home where services are provided.
All persons named as the Client are jointly and severally responsible for payment of fees. We may accept care instructions, schedule changes, and authorizations from any person named as the Client.
Pricing and payment
Current service pricing is listed on our website. Applicable Minnesota sales tax is added at checkout. All payments are processed securely through Square. We do not accept cash.
Extras such as additional cat fees and medication administration are discussed during the consultation and charged after each visit as applicable.
Medication policy
We are willing to attempt oral medications, including pills placed in treats or liquid mixed into food, provided your cat accepts them willingly. We will not force or physically restrain a cat to administer medication. If your cat resists, we will contact you immediately for guidance. We do not offer injections.
Photo updates
A photo update is included with every visit and sent directly to you. Photos are intended as a courtesy to keep you informed and are not a contractual guarantee of specific content.
Pet owner responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your cat's health, behavior, medications, and any special needs during the free in-home consultation and on an ongoing basis as circumstances change. Please ensure we have working keys or access to your home, adequate food and supplies for the duration of your absence, and current emergency contact information.
Liability and insurance
Eagan Cat Sitters carries professional liability insurance and a surety bond through Pet Sitters Associates. While we take every precaution to provide safe and attentive care, we are not liable for pre-existing health conditions, injury or illness that occurs despite reasonable care, or damage caused by your pet to your own property during a visit.
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific visit in question.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
Minor clarifications and corrections do not require re-signing. For changes that would materially affect your agreement, such as pricing, cancellation terms, or how we provide service, we will send you a fresh agreement to review and sign before your next visit.
Existing signed agreements remain bound to the terms in effect at signing.
